Free Campus Visit
See the collegebefore you paya single rupee.
Prospectus photographs are taken on the best day of the year. We take you to see an ordinary one.
Why a visit changes the decision
A college website shows you a rendered library and four smiling students. It does not show you the hostel bathroom, the distance from the block to the mess, whether the labs have working equipment or how many of the advertised faculty are actually on campus.
We have watched families arrive certain about one college and leave having chosen another. We have also watched the opposite: a modest-looking campus winning on the strength of its workshops and its warden. Either way, the decision gets made on evidence.
What the visit includes
- Travel coordination from Edappal, usually grouped with other families going the same week so nobody travels alone.
- A walk through the department you would actually join: not just the reception block. Labs, workshops, library, classrooms.
- The hostel, inspected properly. Room, bathroom, mess, water, security at the gate and the walk back after an evening class.
- Time with current students from Kerala wherever we can arrange it. They answer differently than the admissions desk does.
- A fee and placement conversation with the college, with us in the room.
- No decision on the day. We take you home to think.
Questions we tell parents to ask
Take these with you, whether you visit through us or on your own.
- How many students were placed from this specific branch last year, and with whom?
- What is the total fee across all years, including hostel, mess and exam fees?
- How many faculty in this department hold a PhD, and how long have they been here?
- What is the hostel curfew, the visitor policy and the warden's phone number?
- Which hospital or industry partner do students train with, and how far away is it?
If a college avoids any of these, that is the answer.
Questions
Free Campus Visit,
answered
The arrangement, coordination and our time cost you nothing. Travel costs depend on the destination and are shared when families travel together: we tell you the figure before you commit.
We insist on it where possible. The hostel and safety questions get asked properly only when a parent is standing in the room.
Typically two or three in a region: Bangalore, Mangalore or the Coimbatore–Erode belt. Seeing fewer properly beats rushing through five.
Then the visit did its job. We go back to the shortlist and arrange the next one.
